Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic has confirmed that he will leave the club at the end of the season and has no intention of joining any other premier league club.
The Serbia international joined Manchester United in 2006, helping the Red Devils to 15 titles and he is now ready to end his past eight-years career at Old Trafford.
The 32-year-old confirmed the exit news on United’s official website:
“I have had eight wonderful years here… However, I have decided that I will move on at the end of this season.”
Manchester United manager David Moyes will now look to sign a central defender in the summer transfer window.
In addition – Rio Ferdinand and Patrice Evra future at the club is uncertain, which will be a huge blow for David Moyes.
