Brahim Diaz on Liverpool radar?

Arne Slot’s Liverpool are gearing up for a summer splash, reportedly setting their sights on Real Madrid’s Brahim Diaz. According to Fichajes, the Reds are ready to offer €50 million for the versatile forward as they seek to bolster their attacking options for the upcoming season.

Diaz, who started his career at Manchester City, made the move to Real Madrid in 2019. After a successful two-year loan spell at AC Milan, he returned to Los Blancos and made a significant impact last season, contributing 12 goals and nine assists across 44 appearances.

Despite most of his appearances coming from the bench, Diaz’s performances were instrumental in Madrid’s La Liga and Champions League triumphs.

The 24-year-old’s ability to play in multiple attacking roles makes him an attractive target for Liverpool. Arne Slot, Liverpool’s new manager, is looking for players who can provide dynamism and versatility in the final third. Diaz fits this profile perfectly, capable of creating chances and scoring goals, which is exactly what Slot wants as he reshapes the squad.

Real Madrid, aware of Liverpool’s interest, may consider selling Diaz, especially with Kylian Mbappe and Endrick set to join the club. With ample depth in their attacking ranks, Madrid might find it feasible to let Diaz go if the price is right, allowing him to seek regular playing time elsewhere.
