Liverpool linked with a shock move for City goalkeeper Joe Hart

Liverpool have been strongly linked with a host of goalkeepers ahead of the summer transfer window, and the Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart is the latest name to feature on Reds’ list.

As per the France Football (via Daily Express), Manchester City’s incoming manager Pep Guardiola is keen on Barcelona goalie Marc-Andre ter Stegen to be his number one shot-stopper at the Etihad next season.

Ter Stegen ‘s arrival could see Joe Hart losing his place at the club, therefore, the 29-year-old is expected to make a move elsewhere in search of regular football.

The report says, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is aware of the situation and desperate to bring
the England international to Anfield this summer.

The German boss is also on a search for a new-keeper and having linked with a move for Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

The Merseysiders’ current keeper Simon Mignolet has already signed a new long-term contract with the club earlier this season, but he is not guaranteed of the number one spot for the coming season.
