Liverpool join list of clubs to sign Ajax winger David Neres

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp ramped up his interest in signing Ajax winger David Neres, according to The Sun.

The 22-year-old midfielder has impressed with the Dutch giants this term, scoring 10 goals and 10 assists from 40 outings in the Eredivisie and Champions League.

However, that has inevitably led to an interest in the Brazilian youngster, and Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are said to be monitoring the player’s situation.

The report adds, Klopp will instruct the Reds to make a move for Neres as he looks to revamp his attack ahead of next season.

The 18-time English champions are well stocked for options, but Adam Lallana, Divock Origi and Daniel Sturridge could all leave the Anfield in the summer.

Neres has more than three years remaining on his contract.
