Liverpool interested in Rennes forward Martin Terrier

Liverpool have identified Rennes striker Martin Terrier as a potential replacement for Sadio Mane this summer.

Mane has been strongly linked with a move to Bayern Munich. He will soon be entering the final year of his contract at Anfield.

Should Mane depart the Merseyside outfit this summer, the Daily Mirror claims that Liverpool will look to target Rennes’ Terrier, who they have been keeping close tabs on him recent months.

The 25-year-old joined Rennes from Lyon in 2020 and has scored nine goals and registered eight assists in 38 games across all competitions.

The Reds could face fierce competition from Tottenham Hotspur for the signature of the Frenchman, who is contracted to Rennes until June 2025.
