Lazio have reportedly placed emphasis on signing Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana in the summer transfer window.
With Lallana’s contract set to expire at the end of the season, the England international is being linked with a number of clubs, including Arsenal and Leicester City.
It is understood, the Reds are not interested on extending Lallana stay at Anfield. As a result, the attacker will be available on a free transfer this summer.
However, according to Italian journalist Nicola Schira, the Serie A outfit Lazio are ready to join the race for the playmaker’s signature.
Unlike Premier League outfits, Simone Inzaghi’s side are able to hold discussions with the 31-year-old regarding a pre-contract agreement.
Lazio currently sit one point adrift of Serie A leaders Juventus.
Lallana joined Liverpool from Southampton in 2014.
