Chelsea are reportedly among a few clubs looking to swoop for Red Bull Salzburg striker Benjamin Sesko.
The 19-year-old forward has earned plenty of plaudits with his performance after contributing 11 goals and seven assists in 37 appearances for the Austrian champions in the 2021-22 season.
The Slovenia international has already scored twice in as many appearances this season.
A recent report suggested that Manchester United were keeping close tabs on the player’s situation ahead of a potential transfer, although the likes of Real Madrid, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are also thought to be weighing up a move for the teenager.
According to Media Foot, the Blues are also set to join the race for the young forward as manager Thomas Tuchel looks to strengthen his attacking options.
Although Raheem Sterling has arrived this summer, the west London outfit are still looking to make further additions following the departure of Romelu Lukaku.
