Roma confirms Strootman is not for sale
|Serie A giants AS Roma have confirmed that midfielder Kevin Strootman is not for sale, who has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United in January.
The Dutchman is currently out of action due to a serious knee injury, he sustained in March – which forced him to miss the 2014 World Cup.
Roma president James Pallotta has made it clear that the 24-year-old midfielder is not going anywhere and will stay at the Olympic Stadium in the coming future.
Roma’s official Twitter account quotes Pallotta as saying,
#Pallotta: “There has been non stop reporting in UK newspapers about Kevin Strootman and Manchester United”

#Pallotta: “Kevin Strootman is not for sale and has never ever been discussed in that vein at Roma. They are wasting paper”

#Pallotta: “We consider Kevin an integral highly valued partner in our long term plans”

Strootman has established himself as a key figure at Rudi Garcia’s starting XI, since he joined the Italian capital from PSV Eindhoven last summer.
