2016 Champions League Final to be played at Milan’s San Siro

UEFA have announced that the venue of the 2016 Champions League final will be held at the Milan’s San Siro stadium.

The San Siro, which is a home stadium of Serie A giants Inter Milan, previously held the CL final in 2001, when Bayern Munich claimed the trophy in a penalty shootout win over Valencia.

This will be the fourth time, when the San Siro stadium host the Champions League final after 1965, 1970 and 2001.

UEFA has also announced that Basel’s St Jakob Park, Switzerland to host the Europa League final same season, that will be played on May 18, 2016.
