Croatian Niko Kranjcar ruled out of World Cup with leg injury
|Croatia midfielder Niko Kranjcar has been ruled out of the FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil because of a leg injury.
The Queens Park Rangers midfielder was injured during the Championship play-off win over Derby County at Wembley on Saturday, the reports claim that the player needs four to six weeks to recover from his hamstring, meaning he will miss the summer’s tournament in Brazil.
The 29-year-old has won 81 international caps and scored 16 goals over his career, although he had played in the 2006 World Cup.
The Croatian FA confirmed the injury on its official Twitter account.

Croatia will start their World Cup tournament on 12 June against the hosts Brazil in Sao Paulo followed by Mexico and Cameroon in Group A.
