Chelsea still want to sign Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford

Chelsea have not given up hope of signing Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford.

It is understood, the Blues will spend more money during the two periods for business during 2023.

Chairman and co-owner Todd Boehly will currently be assessing the market with regards to potential new additions.

According to Simon Jones, Chelsea still interested in signing the long-serving United forward Rashford.

However, the 25-year-old’s situation at Old Trafford has improved since the arrival of Erik ten Hag, who views the Englishman as a key man.

Rashford has scored eight goals and registered three assists in all competitions during 2022-23.

He possesses a contract until the end of the season, with the 20-time English champions possessing the option to extend those terms by a further 12 months.

Rashford contributed 101 goals and 61 assists from his 322 appearances for Man United in all competitions.
