Inter Milan interested in Chelsea centre-back Trevoh Chalobah?
|Inter Milan have emerged as rumoured suitors for Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is on the hunt for a new defender following the departures of Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger.
Despite signing Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli this summer, the Blues are considering making further changes over the coming weeks.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Inter Milan could test Chelsea’s resolve regarding Chalobah, who has struggled to cement his place as a first-team regular.
The 23-year-old has remained as an unused substitute for the opening two Premier League games against Everton and Tottenham Hotspur respectively.
Despite being made 30 appearances in all competitions last season, it appears that the academy graduate may be allowed to depart Stamford Bridge for the right offer.
The West Londoners are unlikely to listen to any offers for the centre-back until they have brought in at least one more player to provide cover for Thiago Silva and Koulibaly.
