Man United interested in summer deal for Merih Demiral

Manchester United have reportedly “explored” the possibility of signing Juventus centre-back Merih Demiral.

The Red Devils are thought to be considering bringing two new centre-back to Old Trafford this summer.

Eric Bailly’s future at Old Trafford is said to be uncertain, while Axel Tuanzebe is expected to leave the club on loan for the 2021-22 campaign.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the 20-time English champions are interested in signing Demiral and could offer €45m for his services.

The 23-year-old Turkish only made 24 appearances for the Bianconeri in all competitions during the 2020-21 season.

Demiral still has three years left on his contract with the Italian giants.
