Tottenham Hotspur eye Lazio goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha swoop?
|Lazio goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha has reportedly emerged as a summer transfer target for Tottenham Hotspur.
Hugo Lloris is currently the number one shot-stopper for Spurs, but the north Londoners are beginning to look at long-term replacements for the Frenchman given that he is now 32 years old.
According to the Italian outlet Il Messaggero, Strakosha is one of the names on Spurs’ radar and that they have tracked the Albanian’s progress this term.
However, the price tag could be a hurdle, with Lazio president Claudio Lotito understood to want at least €40m for the 24-year-old goalkeeper.
Meanwhile, Liverpool were also linked with Strakosha last summer and reportedly saw a €30m bid rejected by the Italian club.
