Tottenham Hotspur want Max Aarons from Norwich City
|Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly expressed an interest in making a £15m swoop for Norwich City teenager Max Aarons, according to The Sun.
The 18-year-old defender, who has made his senior debut for the Canaries in August, scored three goals in 19 appearances in all competitions.
Norwich City have extended the Englishman’s contract in October, and his new deal is valid until June 2023.
However, the aforementioned report claims that Spurs are huge admirers of the right-back, and the English club are considering launching a £15million offer when the mid-season transfer window opens in January.
It is understood that Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino looks to bolster his squad and he has identified Aarons as an ideal option and has the potential to become a very good player.
The report adds that Tottenham would be prepared to loan Aarons back to the East Anglian outfit for the remainder of the season.
