Manchester United consider Toni Kroos swoop?
|Manchester United have emerged as rumoured suitors for Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos as a potential replacement for Paul Pogba, whose future at Old Trafford seems uncertain following reports of a fallout with manager Jose Mourinho.
The Mirror claims that United boss Mourinho is planning a significant overhaul of his squad this summer, and Pogba could be one of the players to leave the Red Devils after the manager was left disappointed with his attitude.
Kroos has been tipped as an ideal replacement should Pogba leave the Premier League giants, while Paris Saint-Germain’s Marco Verratti has also been linked with a move to the 20-time English champions.
The France international Pogba has made just 26 appearances for United in all competitions this season, whereas Kroos has notched four times and provided six assists in 28 outings for Los Blancos.
