Tottenham Fans rejoice after Spurs beat Sunderland 1-0
|Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Ryan Mason scores the only goal to earn a much-needed victory at the Stadium of Light.
The victory brings Spurs’ first Premier League win of the season thanks to the 24-year-old Mason, who strikes in the final 10 minutes of the game and helps the club to lift up to 12th place in the league table.
Next up for Tottenham is a home game against Qarabag FK in the Europa League on Thursday night.
The game prompted a plenty of reaction from fans and players on social media, and here are some of our favourites:

So happy that Lamela was involved as he and Townsend have both done well since coming on. And Mason’s been brilliant last ten. Get in! #COYS — Chris Miller (@WindyCOYS) September 13, 2015
The build-up-play for that Spurs goal was very tidy. Lovely finish from Mason too!

Felt Mason should have been pushed forward earlier but actually he’s really bossed midfield since Sunderland dropped off. Well done, Poch! — Chris Miller (@WindyCOYS) September 13, 2015

He also got abuse for bringing on Townsend and Lamela yet they changed the game for us today. People need to have more faith in him. — Jake. (@YedIin) September 13, 2015
