Zlatan Ibrahimovic might retire this summer?

Paris Saint-Germain superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic has insisted that he might retire from football when he leaves the French champions at the end of the season.

The 34-year-old recently confirmed that he will make a move from Parc des Princes when his contract expires this summer.

The Premier League heavyweights Manchester United and Arsenal have been strongly linked with moves for the Sweden international, while MLS has also been touted as a possible destination for the PSG striker.

The charismatic star, though, has revealed that he may hang-up his boots from professional football at the end of the season.

“Maybe I’ll just retire,” he told Swedish broadcaster TV4. “Nobody’s thought of that possibility. I would prefer to go out at the top.

“Anything could happen next summer. When all the cards are on the table, I’ll see which direction I want to take.”

Ibrahimovic has a wealth of experience – played for seven clubs, scoring 141 goals in 169 appearances for the Ligue 1 outfit over the past four season.
