Who deserves to win the 2014 FIFA Ballon d’Or?
Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Manuel Neuer have been named in the top three contenders for this year’s FIFA Ballon d’Or 2014.
Real Madrid talisman Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored 50 goals in 46 games for the Catalan club so far this year, is the overwhelming favourite to win the prestigious title.
Barcelona star forward Lionel Messi, who scored 44 goals in 48 games for the Barca this year.
Messi, 27, became the top goal-scorer in the history of La Liga and the European Cup. Although, the Argentine has won Ballon d’Or for four times, with his first victory coming back in 2009.
Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer completes the shortlist after a successful year both at Bundesliga and international level with World Cup winners Germany.
The 28 year old shot-stopper, who won the domestic double with the Bavarians last season before helping his country to win the World Cup title for the first time in 24 years.
