On January 15, UEFA have announced UEFA team of 2013. Apparently, maximum numbers of voters are from Europe who has decided the UEFA Team of the Year 2013, as follows:

Thiago Silva (Paris St Germain and Brazil)

Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid and Spain)

Philipp Lahm (Bayern Munich and Germany)

David Alaba (Bayern Munich and Austria)

MIDFIELDERS

Mesut Ozil (Arsenal and Germany)

Marco Reus (Borussia Dortmund and Germany)

Gareth Bale (Real Madrid and Wales)

Franck Ribery (Bayern Munich and France)

FORWARDS

Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Paris St Germain and Sweden)

Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid and Portugal)

The maximum – four German players (five Bundesliga men) have made it into this squad.

Total numbers of votes were 6,310,237.

The German Defender, Philipp Lahm has got the maximum 78% of votes. He has 444,252 votes as a full back. Surprisingly, Lionel Messi is not named to the UEFA Team of the year for the first time since 2007.
