Twitter reacts to Newcastle 2-0 win over Liverpool
|Liverpool have lost 2-0 at St James’ Park on Sunday.
The Dutch midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum scored a crucial goal in the last minute as the Magpies ended Liverpool’s recent resurgence under Klopp.
The win lifts Magpies to 18th position, a step closer to safety at the bottom end of the league table, while Liverpool stay 7th.
The Reds’ supporters might have been gutted by the result, but weren’t loose their hope for the Premier League title.

Amazed that Steve McClaren has left out Ayoze Perez. The only NUFC player to both quality and fight this season.

7 – Martin Skrtel has now scored seven own goals in the Premier League; only Richard Dunne (10) has more. Oops.

Great finish by Wijnaldum after Sissoko does what he should do far more often on the right. What a ridiculous football club.

Jürgen Klopp loses his first league away match since his BVB lost 2-1 at VfL Wolfsburg (Steve McClaren’s former club) in May 2015.
