|England captain Steven Gerrard has announced his retirement from international football after 14 years of excellent career for the Three Lions, the Football Association said on Monday.
The Liverpool star, who made his England debut in a 2-0 win over Ukraine at Wembley in 2000, has played 114 times and scored 21 goals for his country.

The 34-year-old midfielder will continue to play for his club with Liverpool.
