It is understood, Manchester United are struggling for goals from the last couple of months and they are keen to bring a goal-scoring machine to Old Trafford in order to retaining their title hopes and Champions league spot for next season.

The Red Devil’s attacking position appears too bad this month, although recent injuries to Ashley Young and Matteo Darmian seems also a trouble for the Premier League giants in defence department.

Ashley Cole: Former Chelsea left-back has recently terminated his contract with the Italian outfit AS Roma and is available on a free transfer. Having plenty of experience in Premier League, the 35-year-old could be the ideal option at United’s defence for the remainder of the season.

Ricardo Rodriguez: Manchester United should consider one of the best defenders in the German football Ricardo Rodriguez from Wolfsburg. He is also being tracked by the top-heavyweights  European clubs including Real Madrid and Barcelona that would cost United as much as €25m.

Nemanja Vidic: Former Man United legend will be available on a free after his contract expires with Inter Milan. Having played for 8 seasons at Old Trafford, Vidic knows an inside thing about the club and a short-term return to his former club wouldn’t be such a bad idea.
