Three strikers ‘Hammers’ should target to re-shape their injured squad in January
|As we all know – West Ham United FC are suffering with an injury crisis and manager Slaven Bilic will be forced to make full use of the January transfer window.
The Hammers have lose three of their star players to long-term injuries but there is some good news, with the winter transfer window is opening in less than a month.
Here are the three forwards West Ham should sign this January..
1) Charlie Austin (Queens Park Rangers)
QPR managed to keep hold of their star player Charlie Austin during summer. Austin showed that he can perform at Premier League level, scoring 18 goals last season.
The Hammers were strongly linked with the 26-year-old striker in the summer – according to the Evening Standard – and now they could repeat the situation.
2) Alexandre Pato (Sao Paulo FC)
The Brazilian striker has “expressed a desire to return to Europe” having previously played for AC Milan and has been linked with a move to the Boleyn Ground, as per the Daily Mail.
Pato, 26, is expected to leave the Sao Paulo FC when his contract expires next month, as reported by ESPN FC and Bilic could be the man to build his top flight career in Premier League.
3) Jese Rodriguez (Real Madrid)
The Spain Under 21 international is a product of Real Madrid’s youth academy, He is reportedly considering to make a move away from the Bernabeu due to a lack of first-team opportunities.
The 22-year-old, who is able to play on the left wing and can also play as a striker, has made just four appearances in the league this season.
Although, he has an impressive record of scoring 10 goals in 40 games for the La Liga giants, most of came as a substitute.
