Reports: Canadian midfielder Josh Doughty passes Man United medical

The Canadian midfielder Josh Doughty has reportedly signed a contract with the Premier League giants Manchester United.

The 17-year-old, who has been part of Real Salt Lake’s youth squad for the last two years – has passed his medical, the youngster himself confirmed on Twitter.

However, the Red Devils not yet confirmed the transfer, but it is expected it will be unveiled by the club in the coming weeks.

Doughty will become the second youngster at Old Trafford’s youth academy after Dutch defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah.

Manchester United are currently sit seventh in the League table with 16 points from 11 games.
