Real Madrid target £30m Bid For Chelsea Goalkeeper Petr Cech

Spanish giants Real Madrid could be set to make a shocking £30m bid to Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech in this January.

The Spanish shot-stopper Iker Casillas is unhappy at the club after being dropped by previous manager Jose Mourinho and with new boss Carlo Ancelotti is continuing to favour Diego Lopez.

Ancelotti wants a world class player as he remains unconvinced that Lopez is the long-term solution between the sticks.

Casillas sale in january should bring in sufficient funds for Real to make a big-money bid for Cech.

The Czech Republic international has been at Stamford Bridge since 2004, and helped the blues to one of the most successful periods of their entire history.

The Spanish giants are desperate to strengthen their squad after falling behind to rivals Barcelona and Atletico in La Liga title race.
