Real Madrid keeping tabs on Brazilian teenager

Real Madrid have reportedly placed emphasis on signing Palmeiras youngster Gabriel Veron in the January transfer window.

The 18-year-old winger has been in impressive form for the Brazilian outfit this season, contributing eight goals and three assists in 24 appearances in all competitions.

The teenager only recently signed a new long-term contract with Palmeiras, but his form has allegedly attracted the attention of the Spanish champions Real Madrid.

According to TodoFichajes, Los Blancos have been scouting the former Brazil Under-17 international this season, and the La Liga giants have been impressed by his development.

The report, though, claims that Manchester City, Arsenal, Juventus and AC Milan are also keeping tabs on the youngster ahead of potential approaches.

Veron is said to be valued at €25m.
