Real Madrid: Carlo Ancelotti wants contract extension

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has expressed his desire to sign a new contract extension with Los Blancos.

The Italian arrived at the Bernabeu last summer, replacing Jose Mourinho and penned a three-year deal with the club.

The 55-year-old boss led the Catalan side to the Champions League title and Copa del Rey last season and he has now insisted that he wants to remain as Real Madrid boss for the long haul.

“I’ve spent a year-and-a-half here and it’s going very well. I feel fine with everything and I would like to renew, but there has to be agreement on both sides,” Ancelotti told Radio Cope.
