Bogdan becomes the third signing of the summer for Brendan Rodgers following Danny Ings and James Milner ahead of the 2015-16 season.
However, Liverpool fans were not much excited about Bogdan’s move to Anfield,
Signing a goalkeeper because he’s better than Brad Jones is not setting sights particularly high. #bogdan.

Goalkeepers with no real competition just get worse. Szczesny proved that. Mignolet needs REAL competition. Bogdan is not that. #LFC

Chelsea have courtois and cech and Liverpool have Mignolet and bogdan. Sums us up.

Bodgan is average, if Mignolet needs to be dropped, Bogdan comes in, goes out on performance, How is he a solution! #LFC

Others weren’t too familiar with the Hungary number one.
What is a Bogdan?

Bogdan, Milner and Ings sound like the baddies from Fantastic Mr Fox.

For others though, it was too much and a defining moment in the club’s histor. All hope is lost, there’s no point in playing next season and Bill Shankly is surely spinning in his grave.
First Ings and now Bogdan.. WTF is our team turning into.. Surely there must be better quality available on the free.. Mediocre season ahead

Milner, Ings, now Bogdan. Lots of people are critical of Liverpool’s transfers but they’re okay! They may just stay in the BPL this year.

A few had a more reasoned view about a second choice goalkeeper signing on a free-transfer.
Bogdan not an exciting signing for LFC at all but he’s been signed as a no.2 & is definitely an upgrade on Brad Jones
— Joe (@JoeTmufc) June 12, 2015
Can’t knock signing Bogdan, better than Jones, no point eating into the wage bill for a world class back up keeper is there.
