Olivier Giroud signs new Arsenal deal?

According to The Mirror – Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has penned a new contract with the Gunners, that will keep him at the Emirates until the summer of 2018.

The Frenchman, who is currently battling with a broken foot injury, expected to return from an injury in Christmas.

The report has suggested that the 27-year-old has committed himself by signing a two-year contract extension – believed to be worth around £80,000-per-week with the Gunners, which is expected to be announced later this week.

If this report is true then, Giroud becomes the latest high-profile footballer to sign a new deal at the Emirates.

Giroud has notched 28 goals in 72 Premier League appearances for the Gunners since arriving from Montpellier in 2012.
