Newcastle United keen on Paulo Dybala?

Intriguing transfer news has emerged from St. James’ Park, with Newcastle United reportedly eyeing a swoop for the dynamic Argentine forward Paulo Dybala.

The 29-year-old, who tasted World Cup glory with La Albiceleste in 2014, has rekindled his form and reasserted himself as a genuine attacking threat this season at AS Roma.

According to sources close to the club, the Magpies have identified Dybala as a key target ahead of next season and are poised to make a determined push for his signature. The diminutive playmaker, who was once regarded as one of Europe’s most exciting prospects, has endured a challenging spell at Juventus in recent years, but his fortunes have taken an upturn since joining Jose Mourinho’s Roma revolution.

It’s understood that Dybala’s representatives were astute enough to include a relatively modest release clause in his contract, believed to be in the region of €12 million, which has piqued the interest of several suitors across the continent. Newcastle’s interest in the Argentine is hardly surprising, given his remarkable performances this season, with 15 goals and eight assists to his name in 32 appearances for the Giallorossi.

Dybala has been linked with a move to St. James’ Park, and if reports are to be believed, the Magpies are willing to go all out to secure his services.

Eddie Howe’s side are keen to build on their recent success and challenge for silverware next season. Dybala, with his abundance of quality and experience, would undoubtedly be a valuable addition to the squad and increase their chances of success.

It remains to be seen where Dybala’s future lies, but one thing is for sure – the World Cup winner will have no shortage of suitors, and Newcastle will need to be prepared to battle it out with other interested parties for his signature.
