New FIFA World Rankings Released (2014)

FIFA have released the latest world rankings after the completion of World Cup 2014 in Brazil.

The newly world champions Germany have reached to top spot after winning the World Cup title for the first time in 24 years.

Germany have replaced 2010 champions Spain in first place whereas the runners-up Argentina and the Netherlands reached on the top three.

Colombia move up to fourth place, ahead of Belgium and Uruguay.

After the disappointing performance by the Hosts – Brazil moves to seventh place while France moves into tenth.

As expected, England’s terrible performance in the summer’s world cup puts them down in twentieth spot.
