Messi demands €250 million annually from Barcelona

Barcelona striker Lionel Messi is reportedly asking €250 million yearly from the Catalan club on his contract extension, according to the reports from As.com

 

The four-time Ballon D’Or winner is asking for a hefty raise on his annually salary, but still unable to lock a final deal with the Spanish giants.

The Argentina international, whose contract at Camp Nou is valid until June 30, 2018. Following with muddled negotiations with the club, it is expected that the 26-year-old could depart Barcelona in this summer, if they unable to finalize the deal in the coming weeks.

Messi has scored 18 goals along with 9 assists in just 21 appearances for the Blaugrana this term.
