Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is keen to announce the major summer transfer window signing this week, according to the Daily Mail.
It is understood the 53-year-old Portuguese is desperate to strengthen his squad ahead of his first full season in charge.
The reports claim that Mourinho has identified their targets such as Karim Benzema, Saul Niguez and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, with a view to discuss possible transfers to Old Trafford.
Benzema, 28, helped Real Madrid to a second Champions League trophy in three years, has played down reports that he could be reunited with Mourinho at Old Trafford next season.
The Frenchman said: “I am happy here and I hope to be here for many years.
Mourinho was appointed as Man United’s new manager on Friday after days of speculation linking him with the FA Cup Champions.
