Manchester United leading the race to sign Moussa Dembele

Lyon striker Moussa Dembele would be open to a move to long-term admirers Manchester United in the summer transfer window.

The Manchester Evening News is reporting that the Frenchman is attracting a lot of interest from the Premier League following an impressive campaign for the Ligue 1 outfit.

The Red Devils consider Dembele to be the “ideal age” to complete a move to the Old Trafford.

The media outlet claim that the 23-year-old forward is “impressed” by the prospect of playing for the 20-time English champions next term.

The striker has netted 16 goals in 27 appearances this season to help Les Gones challenge for a top-four spot in the French top flight.

Dembele moved to Lyon from Celtic in 2018.
