David de Gea, 24, who was heavily linked with a move to join Real Madrid this summer, but his proposed switch to the Bernabeu side broke down due to the incomplete paperwork on deadline day.
The Spaniard will now remain at the Old Trafford until at least January and, he will be a part of the club’s 23-man squad for the group stages of the 2015-16 Champions League.
However, the out-of-favour keeper Victor Valdes has been left out, while latest summer signing Sergio Romero has been chosen by Louis Van Gaal.
Elsewhere, the most expensive teenager of all time – Anthony Martial will join the strike force alongside Depay, Rooney and Wilson.
The Red Devils will begin their campaign against PSV Eindhoven on Tuesday 15 September.
