Manchester City want Alex Sandro in January?

Manchester City are reportedly planning a January move for Juventus full-back Alex Sandro after sending scouts to watch him up close this week, according to The Sun.

The Brazil international, previously linked with Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Manchester United, is said to be stalling on a new contract at Turin.

With the Italian champions rumoured to have switched focus to lure Real Madrid defender Marcelo to Allianz Stadium in January, the report suggests that Sandro could be on his way out if his £50million valuation is met.

The Premier League champions are the latest club to be tipped to make a move for the 27-year-old defender, who is currently under contract with the Serie A giants until 2020.

Sandro racked up 126 appearances for Juventus.
