Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain will reportedly go head to head for Barcelona defender Alejandro Balde in this winter’s transfer window.
The Spain international got his first taste of international action during the World Cup in Qatar.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Red Devils and PSG are competing for Balde’s signature and any deal could be done at a lower cost given the Spaniard only has 18 months remaining on his contract.
The report adds that the Catalan giants are in advanced talks with the left-back’s agent Jorge Mendes, but are currently on hold due to financial fair play rules.
Balde has made 14 La Liga appearances this season, as he has taken over the spot from Jordi Alba.
