Manchester United have reportedly stepped up their interest in Lyon forward Moussa Dembele amidst uncertainty over the futures of Cristiano Ronaldo and Anthony Martial at Old Trafford.
According to Mediafootmarseille, the Red Devils are contemplating whether to bring in Dembele to strengthen their options in the final third.
The 26-year-old has established himself as one of the top strikers in European football for a number of years.
Although the Frenchman endured a goalless stint on loan at Atletico Madrid in 2020-21, having scored 67 goals from 143 appearances for Lyon.
The Ligue 1 outfit are not in a strong position when it comes to retaining the services of Dembele, who has less than 12 months left on his contract.
