Man United considering move for Dmitri Payet from West Ham

West Ham United star Dmitri Payet has emerged as the prime target for Manchester United, as manager Jose Mourinho keen to add pace to their attack force.

Payet, 29, joined the Hammers in the summer of 2015 and has established himself as one of the key players in the Premier League football.

The France international had a stunning Euro 2016 record with his country, being regarded as one of the best midfielders in the division right now.

According to the Daily Mirror, United boss Mourinho could launch an offer for the midfielder, who is valued at £35 million. However, the report add that the east Londoners will not sell him in January and might have to wait until summer.

Payet has scored 12 goals in 38 league appearances for West Ham last season. He also managed to score 3 crucial goals for his nation during the Euro 2016.
