Liverpool eye summer move for Ederson

Liverpool are setting their sights on Atalanta’s Ederson as they look to further strengthen their squad for the upcoming season. As per Tuttosport, the Merseyside club are keen on the Brazilian midfielder, who has been in scintillating form for Atalanta.

Ederson, 24, joined Atalanta from Salernitana in 2022 and has since become a crucial player for the Italian side. This season, he has been pivotal, playing over 50 matches and playing a key role in their Europa League triumph, notably shining in the final against Bayer Leverkusen.

Liverpool scouts, who have been monitoring Atalanta’s Teun Koopmeiners, have been equally impressed by Ederson. His dynamic performances have made him a top target for the Reds, who are preparing a substantial offer for the Brazilian.

With Thiago Alcantara likely to depart, Ederson is seen as an ideal replacement, capable of bringing added quality and stability to Liverpool’s midfield.
