Leeds United have completed the signing of teenage forward Wilfried Gnonto from FC Zurich.
The Italy international has put pen to paper on a five-year contract at Elland Road until 2027, in a deal said to be worth in the region of £5m.
The 18-year-old becomes the Whites’ ninth signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Brenden Aaronson, Rasmus Kristensen, Marc Roca, Tyler Adams, Luis Sinisterra, Darko Gyabi, Joel Robles and Sonny Perkins.
Gnonto has made 26 appearances in his first season at Zurich, and helped the club win their first Swiss top-flight title in 13 years.
It remains to be seen whether the Italian to make his Leeds debut in the Premier League encounter away at Brentford on Saturday.
