Everton keen on signing Iliman Ndiaye

Sheffield United midfielder Iliman Ndiaye has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Everton.

The Merseyside club are reportedly preparing to make a move for in-form Sheffield United striker Iliman Ndiaye during the upcoming summer transfer window, as reported by The Sun.

The 23-year-old has been in impressive form this season, contributing 11 goals and seven assists in 36 Championship appearances for the Blades.

Ndiaye’s exceptional performances have caught the attention of several top-flight clubs, including Everton, who have struggled to find the back of the net since the sales of Richarlison and Anthony Gordon in previous transfer windows.

With just 20 goals in the league, the Toffees are currently the joint-lowest scorers in the Premier League this season.

The Senegal international has just one year left on his contract, and Sheffield United may be forced to sell him if they fail to secure promotion. The Merseyside outfit were interested in signing the African back in January, but a deal was not agreed upon.

If Everton fails to avoid relegation, signing Ndiaye may not benefit them in the long run. On the other hand, the midfielder has several options available to him, as Newcastle United and West Ham United are also interested in securing his services.
