Chelsea to sign Romelu Lukaku from Everton?

Chelsea are reportedly ready to make a move for Romelu Lukaku from Everton, three years after selling him to the Merseyside outfit.

The 23-year-old was thought to be on the verge of signing a new five-year contract at Goodison Park after the player’s agent Mino Raiola claimed that it was ‘99.9% complete’.

However, reports on Tuesday suggested that the Belgian international has no intention of extending his contract.

As per The Mirror, the latest developments have left the West London outfit feeling confident that they can lure the attacker back to the Stamford Bridge this summer.

It is believed that the Premier League leaders had a £57m bid for Lukaku rebuffed last summer, with Everton only willing to consider offers of around £75m.

Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United have also been linked to the forward, who scored 20 goals in all competitions for the Toffees so far this season.
