Chelsea, Manchester United to battle for Kingsley Coman?

Chelsea and Manchester United will reportedly go head to head for Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman in this summer’s transfer window.

The Blues have reportedly “explored” the possibility of signing the France international.

The 24-year-old attacker has enjoyed an impressive 2020-21 campaign for the Bavarians, contributing six goals and 13 assists in 27 appearances in all competitions.

Coman has a contract at the Allianz Arena until the summer of 2023, but it has recently been reported that he has refused the chance to sign a new contract.

Manchester United continue to be strongly linked with the Frenchman, who has made 188 appearances for the German champions in all competitions.

However, according to the Daily Mail, the Blues are closely monitoring the rise of the winger amid suggestions that Christian Pulisic could be allowed to leave west London in the near future.

The report adds that Manchester City are also said to be monitoring the situation ahead of a possible bid during the summer.
