Champions League: Man City to avoid Paris St Germain?
|The Premier League giants Manchester City will hope to avoid the French champions Paris St Germain when the draw for the Champions League’s knock out stage place in Nyon, Switzerland, on Monday.
If we go back to history – past two seasons, City have finished as runners-up at the group stage before being drawn against the Catalans Barcelona and apparently both times eliminated.

Despite losing twice to the Italians Juventus in Group D, they finished first and are therefore seeded, meaning this time they avoid Barcelona, in addition to Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
Their potential challengers include PSG, PSV, Benfica, Roma, Dynamo Kiev and Ghent.
Just like the Citizens, Chelsea will also be hoping to avoid the Persians, who knocked them out of the competition in last season.
