Barcelona have reportedly “explored” the possibility of signing Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves.
The Portugal international, who is under contract at Wolves until 2024 and the speculations surrounding his future has gathered pace in recent months.
Despite Barca’s well-documented financial issues, the Catalan giants are still looking to make high-profile additions ahead of next season with Erling Braut Haaland said to be their priority target.
Nevertheless, it appears that the Blaugrana are ready to launch a summer swoop for Neves, who is now in his fifth season at Molineux.
It is understood, the west midlands outfit are unlikely to consider a sale for anything below £40m.
