Arsenal to move for Nicolo Zaniolo?

Arsenal have reportedly made an approach to sign Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo.

The 23-year-old spent time in the youth systems of Genoa, Fiorentina, Entella and Inter Milan before joining AS Roma in 2018, and he has since racked up 125 appearances for the Giallorossi.

Tottenham Hotspur have been heavily linked with a swoop for Zaniolo, but according to Radio Radio, the Gunners are set to pip their North London rivals to the signature of the Italy international.

The midfielder has scored 24 goals and registered 18 assists for Roma. However, he only has two goals and three assists under his belt in 14 games this season.

Zaniolo will soon enter the final 18 months of his contract with the Serie A giants.
