Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has reportedly identified Chelsea forward Armando Broja as a possible transfer target.
The 20-year-old has enjoyed an impressive 2021-22 season on loan with Southampton, making 20 appearances in the Premier League, netting six goals in the process.
There remains speculation surrounding his future, with the Saints interested in retaining his services permanently, while Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is also understood to be interested in using the Albanian next season.
According to Football.London, the Gunners are monitoring Broja’s situation ahead of the 2022-23 season, after the north Londoners missed out on targets that they hoped to sign during last month.
There are also rumours regarding the futures of both Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah, as their contracts are near an end, hence why the Gunners want to bring in a new frontman.
