Arsenal eye £47m bid for Greek defender

Arsenal have reportedly agreed personal terms with AS Roma in order to sign Kostas Manolas to the Emirates Stadium this summer.

The Gunners didn’t sign any marquee signings this January due to lack of funds, but they are desperate to splash some cash over the summer and will spend £47m to bring the centre-back from Giallorossi to north London.

The Greek international will reportedly join up with the Premier League giants in the summer in order to strengthen their defence line, and a move certainly please the fans.

Manolas has been linked with the European heavyweights with the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Barcelona throughout the season, but it is Gunners who are now believed to have agreed personal terms, and the defender will head to north London from at the end of the 2016/17 campaign.
